East and West together: Kramatorsk and Perechyn are twin cities from now on!
The picturesque town of Perechyn, nestled between the mountains in Zakarpattia, has recently become known not only for its lavender-flowered slopes, which are a must-see for every tourist, but also for the fact that a duplicate of Kramatorsk-based Furlender Windtechnology is being set up there.
Given the circumstances and the fact that Perechyn residents have welcomed a large number of internally displaced persons, including those from the Kramatorsk community, the head of the city’s military administration, Oleksandr Honcharenko, attended events dedicated to the day of Perechyn.
There, he and his colleague, the head of the Perechyn community, Ivan Pohorilyak, signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation between our cities, which means that Kramatorsk now has another sister city.
We are grateful to the people of Perechyn for welcoming all those fleeing the war and opening their hearts, souls and homes to them.
